Mayonnaise

For Anton's first demonstration, he decided to prepare something simple, his homemade mayonnaise.  This is a really easy thing to prepare.  Please bear with our video quality, we'll work on providing a better product as we get used to it.  This mayonnaise is what is served at the restaurant.  In making the mayonnaise, you can always make your own adjustments for your own tastes.

Ingredients:
eggs (room temperature), garlic, garlic powder, sugar, salt, paprika, vinegar

Recorded on Saturday, February 12, 2011 @ Fraser Park Restaurant.

  1. Hey Buddhaboy is double dipping. LOL. Wow I love Anton's mayo. I didnt know he made them from scratch. I thought he just mixes some of his seasonings to a store bought mayo. Its really good stuff. He should market that on its own. Congratulations Buddhaboy and Anton on this great project. Looking forward to learning more of German cuisine from Anton.

  4. No, No double dipping, Anton handed me 2 spoons, i could only handle one at a time. I believe that Anton would like to move onto potato pancakes next.

We actually made some homemade mayo two days ago based on Anton's demonstration, we didn't have any paprika, but it was good nevertheless.

  5. Hi Buddhagirl and Buddhaboy, I was just kidding on the double dipping. :) Did you make a big batch of mayo like Anton's? I wonder if there is a way to post a written recipe as well with a home size portion.
